criminalisation of Religion

Today, blood flows on the street,
A wave of tears is looming
On the name of religion!
In that land where not for one or two decades,
For thousands and thousands years
People of diverse culture were on the stage of fraternity.
...Thousands of religious hostilities! Oh my God!!
How brute the people can turn into?
Vicious alike at the instigation of any evil spirit.
*******************************************************
Our history is the witness.
How this violence took the brutal form and pushed our nation
Towards dread, uncertainty and bloodshed.
My nation was smeared with blood and was divided, that day
We just cannot further afford to have anymore violence or partition!!
*******************************************************
...“Tolerance”
Our tradition teaches tolerance
Our culture preaches tolerance
My friends take the glory of tolerance to every corner of the world
From Ayodhya to Jerusalem and campaign
War cry for religion is not “Protection of the religion,
But criminalization of the religion.”
*********************************************************
Let us not be get fooled,
Let us not be frenzied
Let us not be swayed away by the blow of fanaticism.

iDENTITY

No one born without an identity

I am not an exception.

Diverse Identity but a single man inside

The moment I embraces any one

A Laxman Rekha draws before me with a few

And the rest of the world

But oh! It’s just converse to my nature.

I covet to be with all and all with me.

But why I am …

Have I opted or averred for that?

I never want to depart this life with an identity.

I disregard every identity

And wants to

Enjoy the diversity within every 1

…how much boring a world would be with

Same colour, single idea and one belief ...

But unobtainable is...

How will I present my identity?
To my mother,
On whose lap I saw the silvery image of this novel earth.
On whose soft touch my life becomes cheerful.
After long days of difference I am again…
But with a face of hopelessness.
What is unavailable in this world?
But unobtainable is!
A selfless, uncomplicated, welcoming heart,
Which can touch, fasten and realize soft corner of every one’s heart
That brings me again back to her.
But how I will articulate
I am your that son,
Who had once left,
To adhere the waves of enchantment
And mislay in the dazzling of luxury.
To close the eyes to every past,
And be painted with the fresh colour of a different reality…
Those small arms and cute face
Everything has changed.
Those sweet words are no more saying this lip.
Nothing I have …of the past
Which will make out me!!!

Demolish

Demolish self-absorption,
Many friends of yours
Are ready to die for you.

Demolish materialness,
You will unearth
Peace with you.

Demolish ignorance,
There are pearls of wisdom
To enlighten you.

Demolish the night of grief,
The dawn of glee
Is ahead of you.

Demolish the tie of slenderness,
A bulk of being is coming
To embrace you.

Demolish the Achilles' heel within you,
A balmiki
Is within you.

But never demolish others,
Demolish is on the door
Waiting for you.

Is this a life?

Sometimes something happens,

Which outline a question mark?

Before the definition of life………

Is this a life?

Only sufferings for years and years together,

Inside the partly scorched flesh and two pieces bones

Is this a life?

Seeing yellow dreams for an doubtful existence of tomorrow,

In the midst of the dogs and vultures………………

Is this a life?

My children will break down,

So, hiding own putrid liver inside the blanket………………

Is this a life?

Waiting 2 twenty two hours inside the ICU,

To glimpse this world once again……….

Is this a life?

For a flame of the Swargadwar,

Humiliation entire the life……….

Is this a life? Yes! What I saw in case of…This is a life.

from where to start...

Everything ends when my pen stops.
But from where I start is not the beginning.
Even if I don’t care
But I leave thousands of question marks.
Where to start???
Where life is only a struggle for existence;
Or from there, where people feel pain even in rosy beds
Where happiness comes like waves;
Or from there, where every thing is lost
In times’ caves…
Where there is a fight between man & dog’s child
In the garbage for a piece of bread
Or from there, where the concern is which side
Of the bread should be buttered...
Where every eye is full of golden dreams,
Or from there, where life is wandering on the verge
Of death with every uncertainty
Lastly, I found,
It is really difficult to start, on part of mine,
But still I am with the pen in my hand,
With a hope that
I will start...

When white replaces all...

I watched the quiet sunset. It had been a long, still and hot day. The sea was a big wild and the night of the full moon was approaching. Two separate strings of wind hit my face; a hot, dry one from the land and the cool, moist sea breeze. As wave washed my feet I thought I am completely in oblivion. It was the sea beach of Puri, which has a sacred cremation ground called "SWARGA-DWAR" close to it. That day I went there just for a pilgrimage. But I found 7-8 dead bodies were waiting to embrace the ritual fire in the cremation ground. I was very much shocked. I find it miraculous that the bodies which were very much loved, respected, honored yesterday, are today lying in the cremation ground. I felt really sorry when I found a dead body of a man clothed in groom's dress. I asked the cause because I am indigenous about everything. But oh! It was unfortunate. A little bit of worries, sadness made me to lose in his thought. When he was returning home after marriage, he became a victim of pandemonium. The marriage procession party just turned into a theatre of war in a few minutes. But it lasted for a wink. A man with a pistol shot the groom and the scenario just changed. There was a huge cry. But the bride's cry was very heart-rending. Today she is crying for a person who had promised to live with her for ever (Janam Janam ka sath Tumhara Hamara...). The dreams in her blue eyes vanished, the blood of her husband just wiped out the vermilion in her forehead forever. The glamour on her face went away for the time to come… The red vermilion, red bangle, red lip gradually started fading. The white replaces all happiness. The mother, who was looking to the path of her son became...
The wave did not allow me to accompany them in their bad days anymore because I was a man, just acting on the dictate of emotion. Welcome to my http://dictateofemotion.blogspot.com/
